FLIR attending DPRTE with Thermal Vision Defence
DPRTE 2025
The defence landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by technological advancements, geopolitical shifts, and the ever-present need for security and defence strategies innovation. In this dynamic environment, defence suppliers are critical in ensuring that armed forces are equipped with the latest and most effective tools and technologies. DPRTE 2025 is a vital platform for these suppliers to connect, collaborate, and stay ahead of the curve.
The Integrated Review Refresh 2023 updated the government’s security, defence, development and foreign policy priorities to reflect changes in the global context since the publication of the Integrated Review 2021.
This was followed by the publication of the refreshed Defence Command Paper in July 2023. This paper sets out how Defence will deliver on the ambitions of the Integrated Review Refresh and focuses on the need to secure UK strategic advantage, achieve greater economic and industrial resilience, and contribute to national prosperity.
These aims are to be achieved by investing in people, exploiting innovation in digital, data, and science and technology, forging a closer relationship with industry, improving the MOD’s acquisition processes, adopting an activist approach to defence exports, and maximising productivity.
DPRTE is more crucial than ever for defence suppliers in the face of new challenges and opportunities. This premier event brings key stakeholders across the defence procurement and supply chain communities, including the Ministry of Defence, prime contractors, and defence suppliers. Attendees will gain invaluable insights into upcoming procurement opportunities, cutting-edge research, and technological developments shaping the future of defence.
DPRTE will span two days for the first time, allowing for an even more comprehensive and enriching experience. This extended format will provide additional time for networking, in-depth discussions, and an exhibition of the latest products and innovations. Participants can engage in targeted workshops, attend keynote presentations from industry leaders, and explore a broader range of exhibitor stands.
